Hello All!

Please join LEAG for an informal discussion around the recent SCOTUS ruling regarding Title VII of the US Code which interprets the prohibition of workplace discrimination on the basis of sex to include sexual orientation and gender identity.  It was an unexpected yet huge win for LGBTQ+ folks as the highest court in the country essentially deemed sexual orientation and gender identity as protected categories under Title VII.  In this discussion we will cover some of the basic case history, a synopsis of the SCOTUS opinion (written by Justice Neil Gorsuch), the practical legal implications of the decision, some potential HR implications on NASA folks, and open it up for Q&A.

Feel free to forward this invite to anyone outside of the LEAG DL who might be interested in joining and learning more about this groundbreaking SCOTUS ruling.

Thanks!
