ODEO is a customer-focused organization responsible for functions that have been divided into two main categories to delineate mandated activities: Workforce Diversity and Disability Program and Dispute Resolution and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Counseling Program.
- Workforce Diversity and Disability Program includes the Affirmative Employment Program, Individuals with Disabilities Program, Disabled Veterans Program, Federal Women’s Program, and Hispanic Employment Program.
- Dispute Resolution and EEO Counseling Program includes Discrimination Complaints Processing, EEO Counseling, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) through Mediation. The program manager is also responsible for the Asian/Pacific Islander Program and the Native American Program.
