Ms. Maria Lopez-Tellado works within the Engineering Directorate, Technical Management Integration Office at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida. She is responsible for the development and implementation of Technology activities at KSC.

Ms. Lopez-Tellado has 30 years of technical and program management experience in the research, development, and production of interdisciplinary Aerospace and Navy systems. One of her professional highlights was the time she spent at NASA Headquarters, when she had the opportunity to participate in a presidential study to plan a piloted mission to Mars. This experience gave her a profound understanding and appreciation of the technology limitations of our times.

Educational Background

Ms. Maria Lopez-Tellado holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and a Masters in Engineering Administration from George Washington University, Washington, DC.
